About me
Alyssa Howard is a barrister specialising in family law. She is a tenant at St Ives Chambers, Birmingham, a set which is consistently recognised as one of the leading chambers in the country for children and family law.
Alyssa undertook her first degree at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, graduating with a first class degree and the top mark in the entire year. She was made a Bateman Scholar by Cambridge University.
After university, Alyssa attended law school and was awarded a Lord Denning Scholarship by Lincoln’s Inn. She qualified as a barrister in London, where she also practised for several years.
Alyssa was born and raised in the Midlands and returned to live and practice there in 2017, although she still continues to travel across the UK to undertake cases.
Alyssa is known for her passionate and dedicated approach to her work. She is a strong advocate in Court, and always goes the extra mile to provide thorough advice and much needed support for her clients going through family law disputes.
